The perceived differences between Occupy Wall Street and the Tea Party are significant. Is there any substance to that perception? Both groups are highly active in social media, so Abraham Doris-Down and I set out to find out what was actually being discused by each group, and whether the perceived differences were real. Using the Twitter API, R for statistical analysis, and a host of natural language processing libraries, we got some surprising findings.

Collaborative architectural development depends on the sharing of models to approximate an experience of final design. VCAR leverages the affordances of augmented reality toward a virtually co-located, architectural model-sharing experience that enables collaboration over mobile devices, an inhabited augmented reality point-of-view, real-time annotation and modification of virtual models, and deictic communication.
